That shows my brains are still a bit like a sponge. It is Emerald though. You can also copy the "player" folder from PC to a disk and copy it from disk to the laptop. That way you can continue chasing for stars. Tell the hubby to get his own laptop. Racing game If it was a break-out game OK. I beat him on that.

Hi again, I am still around. I can maybe go for stars with my first player, though its only 2* so far, but I am scared of maxing out and fix and crashing all the time. It was lovely chating with you. Until another time all best from South Africa. Hugs Lubica

With two stars, I don't think, you have a reason to be afraid. Look in the "player" folder and check the size of the file: "players" If it is over 500 KB it is time to come back and tell us so. A fix is available, so no need for worry.
I have 8 stars and the file is only 202 KB. I created and bumped them loads of LO's that's for sure.
Hugs to you. Knuffels voor jou. In South-Africa they know a little Dutch language, don't they?

Hi, Gerda Here I am again. Now I will download programes you sugested. As for Dutch, here we have Afrikaaners, they are mostly from Holland and France from the inquisition times (not sure about spelling). They have their own language but as I hear it is like old Dutch and a bit of German. Hve a nice weekend. Hugs Lubica

I don't know what I did It seems, you solved the problems yourself. Well done, karma for you. Interesting to know, people left for Spanish Inquisition. I didn't know that. Oh, it is a lot I don't know. You spelled "inquisition" right. Yes, it is old Dutch, developed in its own way. I like the sound of it and can understand most of it.

Hi Gerda, I see you are here as well, so just to say good morning. My laptop is doing fine. At the moment I play mostly speedies so I sail through ranks. Computer with my first player is again down, but I have a back up so there should not be a problem whwn it wakes up. I am not sure if my chating belongs in this topic, but its fun. hugs Lubica

Hi Gerda, just a few words before I run to work. Just as thought my stats are fine security program went for update and I have the same problem again. Now I am stuck at Diamond Goat. Maybe I must write to BFG support. Hugs Lubica

You ranked up nicely. What can BFG do about the security program you use. Perhaps you have to go to help desk of that one? What security program do you use? Can't you change the settings back again as you did the first time?
Big hugs back to you.

Hi Gerda, I e-mailed BFG this morning and already got reply ( usually it takes few days). What they say sounds scary. I will copy: "Unfortunetly some of the online content for this game is no longer available. Layouts should be available to download, but the global high scores are no longer available." Are they shutting down our game? I am worried. Hugs Lubica.

Only thing not functioning is layout counter. That is broke for months now. Who cares. Anyway, I will forward it to Andy, with a request to contact BFG about it.

I thought this over today. If I would be a game creator and having a game selling company and had the intention to shut down a game: I would not sell the game anymore. I would not advertise the game anymore. BFG still sells the game and advertises it through on line game. This game is still so popular, I would not shut it down. I really think, you got the wrong answer. With me the game runs smoothly. I made Fairy Queen rank up from Gold Rabbit to Ruby Rabbit, playing some speedies, I found in the fastest list. She is almost Emerald Rabbit now. I checked the Internet site. She is 3th from top. I recommend you to run the Cleanup and Issues of CCleaner. It is a free program. You can download it at: www.CCleaner.comI use it regular. I hope that does solve the problem. If not: To be able to help you, I want to know: Is the laptop always connected to Internet, during playing game? What kind of Internet connection do you have? and: What security program do you use?

Hi Gerda, maybe Ian (person who signed for Customer Support) made mistake, although support request numbers match. I have dial-up connection, I play offline, only go to the net to download and share layouts. Laptop came with preinstalled Norton 2005, I wanted Symantec, but it cannot run on XP Home Edition, so I ended up with AVG Free Edition, which I am sure coses the problem. Thank you and hugs.

I bet it does. I am not in here to solve PC problems. (Whole subject is off topic anyway). I am not a geek. It exists PC magazines for that. I read, anti-virus programs of different brands don't get along at one PC. Started with Symantec Norton Anti-virus, you stuck to it. Even uninstalled, it leaves something at PC (I don't know where, even deeper than register) to spoil same kind of program of other brand.

I love the hugs over the karma's. Giving one a karma is done by clicking at "exalt" in the space at the left with the name and avatar in. I do not deserve it, because I was not able to solve the problem. If you click at "smite", you withdraw one. That would make me feel sad. Hugs and karma to you.
