Just an idle qustion. Actualy I'm being nosey.
Does anyone have the music playing whilst they are playing? I've tried, but can't stand it for more than a few minutes at a time.
I imagine they think it is relaxing, but it has me screaming at the 'puter to shut up before I turn it off.

Does anyone know where you can download new music for MTE? I like 2 of the songs, but not the others. Thanks.

That is a good question. It would be nice to listen to your own type of music in the back ground other then what is already part of the MTE game. If anyone knows how to do so......please fill me in?

Did some checking on the MTE directory on my hard disk. Under the assets directory, there is an audio sub-directory that contains ".swa" MPEG Layer 3 Audio files that are the in-game music that is played during MTE. There are about four of these. I think it is possible to put in other music files that would play in-game, all that would be needed would be to take an MP3 and convert it to SWA format. I will work on trying to do this - a very interesting idea indeed. As I am a professional musician, this sort of thing is right up my alley! I'll let you know if I succeed.

Hi, I'm Oleta I mess around with my music alot in the Mahjong Holidays 2005. It's just like the Mahjong Towers Eternity only Christmas version. To put your mp3's in your music right click on your game and your droplist appears. Go down to the bottom of list and left click on properties. When this page opens(page is small) left click on Find Target. Now your in the works of your game and you'll see the assets file, right click and open, there is your audio file, right click and open. You have two kinds of music . I always use mp3's. You can't convert swa's and wma's do not play in this game. If you have your mp3's ready drag them into this folder. The next time you turn your game on these will play for you. I told you earlier that I have the Mahjong Holidays 2005. I love playing this version , I have Christmas tiles that came with it and the Mahjong Towers Eternity tiles too. I have my game so that I can have Christmas music, Christmas tiles and backgrounds, and the same with Western theme, Mahjong Towers, Valentine's,Kitchen, Storybook, Springtime, Wintertime, Summertime, Autumntime. You can do any theme you like. I use Limewire to download my mp3's. I got it free from Limewire.com. I believe it is still free. I hope this helps all you music lovers.

This is good news :-) The steps are easy to follow. I just don't have a mp3 player. :-( I will need to get my husband to explain the mp3 part to me.

Hi Oleta, Yr explanation of playing mp3s in MTE is correct, i tried it & it works I'm a speedy player however & altho it works it would best be suited to those who play the large layouts as - as soon as a layout ends & u move to the next 1 the music stops also & starts on the next track on the following layout. As speedies r fast paced ya dont get much of a chance to get past the first lyric of a song also - as with the background file - the game default music stays in the audio file with yr mp3s so u still get to hear thm regardless - i did movr the defaults to another folder but nah - it didnt keep thm out So i think i'll try me mp3's wen i play one of the larger layouts sometime Thank you very much for the info tho, it is a very handy piece of information to have Have an awesome day/night PS: If thr any1 out thr who can fix me glitter signature i used to have, thatd b grt & if able to fix it - Thank You in advance Take Care All
