Q: How do I share tilesets?
A: A good way is to share them at Esnips:

Q: How do I download tilesets?
A: Go to the user made tile set thread. To install a set, simply click on the link and follow the instructions to downlaod from the filesharing site. Save it to the player tilesets folder within the mahjong towers eternity folder. When you restart the game the set will be in with the others.
Q: Where do I download tilesets?
A: Save the tilesets to C:\Program Files\Mahjong Towers Eternity\player tilesets.
Q: How do I select a tileset to play with in the game?
A: Click on options when you are in the game. You will see a picture of one of the tiles in the set you are currently using. It will say "more". Just click here and it will bring up all of your other tilesets.
Q: How do I create tilesets?
A: First of all, you need to collect 36 jpg, bitmap or png images. Gif image files will not work. If you save images that are GIF you will need to convert them to JPG. One of the easiest ways to collect the images is by doing a google search. You can go to google and type in the word of what you are looking for. For instance, "hearts". Then click on images in google and you will get alot of images to choose from. You can also get images from clip art sites. Once you have collected all 36 images that you would like to use, just put them all in the same folder and label the file with the name of what you want your tileset to be. Then open the mahjong towers eternity game and click on options, then click on make a tile set. It will prompt you to browse your computer for the folder where your 36 images are stored. Once you find the folder you just click on ok and then it will create a new tileset for you! If you get a director player error and it doesn't work you may need to change your color settings from 16 bit to 32 bit. To do this you just click on start, then settings, then control panel, then display, then settings and from there you can see what your color settings are.

A: The best ratio is 80 x96 pixels.

A: Depends on the program you use. IrfanView is easy to use and it is freeware. Portrait pictures are the best to use, because of the shape of a tile. First thing to do, is save a pictures at best quality.
1. Put the 36 pictures in a Tileset test folder.
2. Open Irfanview and open the first picture in the Tileset test folder.
3. Go to Image, click at Resize/Resample or use shortcut: CTRL-R.
4. Set new size to: width: 80, Height 96. Select pixels.
5. Remove the checkmark (unselect) at: Preserve aspect ratio, if you want to cover the tile with the picture.
6. Save as, or use shortcut S, in the folder with the title of the tile set.
7. Click at the arrow --> to open the next file in the Tileset test folder.
8. Repeat procedure from NR. 3, until all 36 pictures are resized.
