When I try it says that I need to change my display properties to 32 bit however when I try to do this I only have the option of 24 bit or 16 bit. So guess that means that my computer does not support it? I will be getting a new computer in a few months but still it really stinks because I would love to make some tile sets. I had the pictures all picked out and everything! Any advice?

I think this depends more of the graphics card in. Well no need to buy such a card new if you will have a new PC within short. To create tilesets you definitely needs 32 bits. That is common knowledge. I don't know what PC and what graphics card is inside it, you have right now. Perhaps updating drivers would help. If not: Back up the nice pictures to an external device and await the new PC.

It's a very old graphics card so I am pretty sure that is the problem. I did try to update the driver last night but it didn't find a newer one. I have had my computer since 2000 and I have made some upgrades but it's old and I need a new one. I will save the pics I have chosen for tilesets. Now I want my new computer NOW! lol Thanks!!

if your buying , look at graphic card spec on pc, avoid shared , get one with ati Radeon, (or better)because my NEW all singing dancing PC has shared graphics, good enough for 32 bit etc games, but rubbish at 3D games like roller coaster tycoon 3 and many more, so I bought a laptop with ati radeon graphics not shared and no prob with the named games!
happy playing and good luck!
