Question about sharing tileset (newbie)

Hello everyone,

I'm so addicted to Mahjong Towers Eternity, it is now progressing to me trying to mess around with building simple layouts and now, building tilesets.

I very clumsily was able to manage to make a tileset. I actually got it to work on my computer! But...now, I have the urge to share my tileset. I plan to do it on eSnips, but, I'm having some troubles.

I'm not real great with a computer, so, if anyone can help, I need very CLEAR and CONCISE instructions...then, I'll usually get it.

I got all the way to browsing for my file on eSnips, but, then I got stuck. What is the filepath to the file I want to share with everyone? When I first hit the browse button, it just showed the resized pics I had made for the game, not the actual tileset. I want to share the tileset. Then, to top it all off, the file/folder that I stored my resized pics in I entitled it Mahjong Towers Eternity Test Tile Set, instead of what the theme of the tileset was all about, "Marshmallows". So...I then went to players tilesets and downloaded the one tileset that I think was mine. I don't know. I know I'm not explaining this very good...I can't hardly explain it myself.

I guess what I am asking for is step by step instructions on how to share from eSnips. I don't know if whatever I did even worked. Heck...I probably shared someone elses tileset, I didn't know what I was doing!!!

Also...need help to know how to label my files/folders for tilesets. How do you folks do it?

Well, if any of this made any sense...please help! If it didn't make any sense...I totally understand!

OK...have to get back to earning some more points!!! Working towards getting to be a pig. Sure do need lots of points to get there!!!

Oh, Thank you so much for checking it out. I'm glad I got it to work!

MTE is great because when you get burned out with the game...then there is something new to do again...making tilesets and layouts!

When you use eSnips...is there anyway to preview the file? So you could see what the tileset looks like before you download it?

Also, I am wondering how the folks here are naming their files/folders on their computer and how to keep their tilesets organized on their computer?

I played your tileset. It is nice. I even did classic mode. You can take that for a compliment. I mostly play Speed Mode.
One little minor is the name. I would have called the folder: Marshmallows. Game names the tileset after the name of the folder with the pictures it creates a tileset from.

I use Irfanview for creating tilesets and collages.

Or make an screen shot in game. I use the layout *+* for that. How to do a screenshot is explained here:

You can store the image at your Enips account. It would be nice to post it at forum, using PhotoBucket or Imageshack.
Would be nice if it is in Usermade Tilesets board. You can create your own thread to share your tileset(s).

How I organize the tilesets at my PC?
I have a folder called: MTE Tileset. In this folder are folders named after the tileset creators. I recently created a new one. I called it: Kungfumama and saved your tileset in it.

Thanks...I've printed out your reply for future reference. I haven't been on the computer lately and now I have a few days off...so, I'll be experimenting a little more with the tilesets. You answered my questions perfectly! Thanks again! I just made another tileset with the lead singer of the rock group Pearl Jam (Eddie Vedder). I'm going to try to follow your directions and see if I can get my tilesets shared!
