I have downloaded Irfanview but Gerda's instructions on customizing the settings do not appear to be correct...is this because I have a newer version of Irfanview? I do have photoshop and presumably all I would need to do is alter the size of each picture I propose to use to 80 x 80 and perhaps sharpen/ colour the images etc and then store online as described? Does this all make sense....I do fancy creating my own tileset

Of course you can use another program to modify the images. I use PaintShop Pro to customize the images if needed. But I stick to my opinion that 80 x 96 pixels is the best size for an image to use in a tileset. With 80 x 80 pixels the tiles are not full covered at top and bottom. I made a tileset "Dogs" today with only using IrfanView Version 4.10. That is newest version at the moment. First I collected an overload of dogs images in a folder: Dogs original. Made another folder: Dogs Tileset. Copied the images from Dogs Original to that one. Kicked out images till I had 36 images left. Than cut of some borders if needed and cropped and save the result. Next made a folder: Dogs. Within IrfanView went to Thumbnails and selected all 36 images. Started Batch Conversion from the folder: Dogs Tileset: This is how I set the advanced options: After I went into the game and clicked the button: Options. From there clicked the button: Make a Tileset. Browsed to the folder Dogs et voila, another tileset is born. To share it with other players I upload the CST file to my Esnips account and post the download link in my Tilesets thread.

Cool. I am looking forward to see it. Can you make an account on Esnips please if you have not one already. Create a MTE-tilesets folder on Esnips please and upload it there and copy the download link into the forum?
