One of the most special events of the year in my opinion is Christmas. It is celebrating the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He brought the Light into the world. Here is a place to share your Christmas thoughts and wishes. Please join and enjoy. It doesn't matter what language you use. Love and Peace is understood in all languages. Here is mine to start with. I pray for it to become true:

Come and walk beside me Beneath the Christmas sky See the redbirds singing With love that gives a sigh Christmas bells are ringing Snow is on the ground Love is there in beauty In such a glorious crown Peace and love a feeling That comes within this place Heaven's stars are shining Filling hearts with grace Paths are always taken With thoughts the heart speaks of On Christmas Day a journey That fills our hearts with love. Have a Blessed Christmas

Here is a photo how my Christmas tree looks this year: Gerrit has decorated it me being at work. Coming home, I am surprised by it. After I always complain. I tell him I would have done much better. Little voice in my head tells me liar. lol. Gerrit knows and I know. That is OK.

Gerda your christmas tree is so pretty. Gerrit did a great job. We didn't put one up this year. Alot going on. Maybe next year. I love this thread because we can share about us and how we celebrate the holiday. George and I don't give christmas gifts to each other. We would write a private letter to each other. Then on christmas eve, just him and I would open then in private, a very special time for us. The magic of the holiday, no matter how you celebrate.

www.noradsanta.org/index.phpThis site is great. You can track Santa Claus all over the world where he is on Christmas Eve. I did this when my grandchildren where real young. Have fun...

Gerda--what a lovingly decorated tree---each ornament looks like an individual--not from a large box!!! And what a manly way to put up the gold tinsel!! Thank you lots for sharing!!!

Nothing wrong with Christmas in June. The boats are not part of Christmas tree as it might look. One is on the speaker box. (That is what speaker boxes are good for.) The other hangs on the wall. (We need lifeboats around here.) The tree and stable will go first of January. The boats will stay. Nothing wrong with being different. I am used to it. To me it is normal.

Thanks Delphine for sharing this one with us. I very much enjoyed it. It is fun and also very beautiful. Meanwhile it explains what a "gazebo" is.
