Thank you, Kimky and Peety for the new words. Howdy Peety had a good laugh with some of yours. Where do you find so many words? Maybe now we can start use some when we are posting, especially if they are from some of these places. It would be fun. Peety and Kimky karma to both. Angel

That is so great see all those countries and even states. Sorry to say I haven't been around that much. I really do enjoy meeting people from around the USA and the world. I looked up some words, lol I cheated:
Hello - Dutch - Hello " - French - bonjour " - German - hallo " - Italian - ciao
Welcome - Dutch - welkon " - French - bienvenue " - German - willkommen ' - Italian - benvenuto
Thank you - Dutch - dank u " - French - merci " - German - danke " - Italian - grazie
Good bye - Dutch - goed tot ziens " - French - au revoir " - German - auf wiedersehen " - Italian - arrivederci
I got this two from some here that posted them to me. I like the says alot so I'm sharing them. I think they are Dutch, she is from Belgium.
vele groetjes ( many greetings) tot wederhoren en prettig weekend (until the next time and have a nice weekend)
Again thank y'all for sharing.
If you should have a fun story to go along with this please share. Here is mine: My sister-in-law came here from Scotland. She lived with us. She asked my mother where she could hang her clothes. Oh course said in the closet, well the next thing we find all her clothes in the bathroom hanging of the shower rod. A closet in Scotland is the bathroom. We all had a great laugh.
Everyone enjoy your weekend, Angel

At this site you can learn how to say several words and phrases in hundreds of different languages. My goal (Jennifer) is to include every language, so that people will be able to say at least a few words to anyone they meet, anywhere in the world. This is the link to Jennifer's site: www.elite.net/~runner/jennifers/I'm looking forward to read more Dutch around here. Have fun exploring this site.

Yes, I agree. It's a blast. Seriously again. This a good one if one wants to improve English. Goes for grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary. I was overwhelmed at fist sight. Just click around. You can trust BBC. If not, who can you? Have a look: www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/The whole site is very interesting. I bet within a year, I know more about UK than the Netherlands lol.
