Very cool poem! You are a good writer. I feel like I am not very creative at all. I am always at a loss of words. Actually, sometimes I do find it easier to talk on the computer than I do with some people in life. Although at work some might say I am never at a loss for words.....lol. What classes are you taking Pinky?

I figured I would add this poem I did to this thread.
Knowing Yourself
Some may know you for years Some may know you for less Yet, a few will believ they know you inside and out! They may believ they know you so well One day, you are predictable Another day, you surprise everyone Does anyone ever really know you? For that matter, do you really know yourself? Some may know you so well Yet be suddenly shocked by you You may believe you know yourself Yet, you can do something You never knew you could do! One day, you think you know yourself Another, you do something unexpected And surprise yourself! Does anyone ever really know you? Do you ever really know yourself? Try something different and find out!

Here is another poem I have written.
Love
Love is strange Love can be a budding flower Or it can be the thorn You are the one to decide Love can be short Love can be life-long It is all up to you You van let love grow Or you can let it wither Love is for you to shorn Or to nurture as you will Love can bring pleasure Or love can bring pain You and only you can decide Love is strange Strange indeed Which way will you Turn the wheel? Flower or thorn? Love is truelly strange.

Portrait of Change Change is a myriad of colors, Red for its passion; black for its sorrow. It sounds like the wailing wrath of the wind, Getting closer and closer 'til it comes again.
It tastes like a grapefruit, fresh and ripe. It can bring grief or the brightest of lights. Its scent is subtle, like that of a flower, Creeping upon you like a sudden spring shower.
Change looks like a stranger on the street, Ever so near and always discreet. Sometimes change can cause great fear, But can also bring hope for future years.

A Lonely Day
Birds whistiling in the meadow, tweet, tweet! Bacon frying in the pan, sizzle sizzle! Mum goes round wih the duster, rub, rub! That annoying tap, drip, drip! The church bell rings, ding, dong! Bees making their honey, buzz, buzz! The cat by the fire, purr, purr! The dog barks in the garden, woof, woof! The tractor ploughs the field, brum, brum! The clock goes tick, tock! On this lonely day.
My second poem.I'll be writing my third poem soon.

Your poems sound good especially the one about the firework.
I worked 25 years in a fireworks factory, you describe the sounds amazingly.
