I'm new to the forums so I don't know if I can find this information somewhere or not. I have done 3 layouts with a difficulty of 6 because I thought it would be nice for some people to play quick and short. But it seems that most people on these forums are going for the difficulty instead. It doesn't appear to be a way to edit the layouts that have already been shared, but maybe there's a trick. Is there or do I need to just duplicate my design and save it at the most difficult level to capture players' attention?

It does not matter if you ask a question again. It takes far too much time to look after a thread that have answered it, if existing. Others might have the same question. Thanks for asking.
If a layout is shared it can not taken back to modify it. Shared is shared. You are right about that.
Some players like hard layouts, some like in between and other players like easy layouts. Sure difficult layouts take more attempts before beaten. That is logic. That does not say they are more favorite. I would not pay too much attention to that. I think most favorite list should be a mix of most attempted and succeeded to be fair. For that I suggest you create layouts that you like yourself for the joy creating the designs no matter easy or difficult.

Thanks for the reply. One more thing I've been wondering about. Does anyone check the layouts to make sure they are mathmatically possible? I think a few are suspect and playing them is alot like banging your head against the wall over and over again and not realizing exactly why you've got a headache. :-)

the game will not let you submit a game that is impossible, eg an odd number of tiles, or a layout where the solution is unable to shuffle etc... clever game aint it lol !! although there are a few that took me erm over 50 tries and some more. Patience is a virtue they say ... luck is a blessing.

How do U get the value of the layout. I have seen lots of 10,000 points and so on. How do I do that my self. I picked hard and it gave it 2,500 I think. What's up w/ that?

its called Bumping, basically it means If the level is failed after x amount of times the value goes up so to get your levels "worth more , share then , and play them but Dont win , fail abort etc. about 30 times and your level will have 10,000 value , in the Old version it only had to be "Bumped" 10 times to achieve this !!
hope that helps

Hi pincaviglia86. Firstly, I am sorry you feel let down at the lack of response to your queries. However, publicly venting your frustration is not the correct way to do it. Any complaints you have should be pm'd to a moderator and I myself usually take on that responsibility. Also, if many other members happened to post different things on the same thread, it is very easy for your own post to get "lost" in the crowd, so to speak.
Those of us who have had the game from the beginning have came across the rules and exceptions of tile making, the very ones you have obviously seen breached. If anyone has managed to find a way round this then it is something we do not know how to do, therefore cannot answer your query. The only way to find out is to ask the individual tile makers themselves. There are two ways to do rhis. If they are a member of this forum you could pm them and ask them how they do it. If they are not a member, you could still contact them using the ingame personal messaging system.
I am sorry I cannot be of more help on the subject, but please let us know if you have any luck in solving your query. If you have any further questions or queries do ot hesitate to pm or email me and I will do my best to help.
Andy
