I just started making layouts. Everything I do will be under the user name JRPP. To get started, I'll be focused on specific, symmetric shapes and playing with variations. Right now, I'm doing diamonds. See Diamond001 thru Diamond003. I'll do one theme until I feel like moving on, then work another idea.

Jim, I just played all your layouts. They are very good and enjoyable.. Keep up the good work. Wow - you didn't waste any time! Glad you like 'em. I think there's 7 diamond LOs now. I'll continue trying to make the fortunes humorous, but it's hard to keep coming up with new ones. Jim

It's very hard doing all the fortunes, that is why I stopped doing them on my layouts..
I will check out your new LO's...

Hi Jim,
It was fun playing the pyramid layouts. I have done them all 17. I like this style. Thanks for creating. Karma for you.

It has been fun to keep giving a new twist to a simple pattern. After 20 diamonds, I'll try some other ideas I've got brewing. In fact, I was eating an ice cream cone while writing this. Cone shapes may be on the horizon, among others. Jim

Gerda, I also enjoyed playing Jim's LO's, they are relaxing and fun to do.. Keep up the good work Jim... It's nice to see people enjoying them. While a few turned out to be quite easy, most were just what I was shooting for - moderate in both size and difficulty. Mainly, though, it was all about playing with the shapes. Jim

Got another shape series going - Octothingy, which will be anything with eight branches to it. The first one turned out to be too easy, but the second is what I'm really after - not too hard, not too easy, and not too big.

I think first Octothingy001 has too many open sides. I play Speed Mode but it almost looked like Classic Mode. Very difficult to play for me. Octothingy003 is very wide. Gives me a bad time to drag mouse from one side to the other over such distances. lol. I liked Octothingy002 best. It is more compact. Got a great time on that one.
Keep up the good work. I had fun playing the layouts.

The skyscraper designs (20 levels) just don't appeal to me as much as more intricate layouts with fewer levels, so that's what I'm shooting for. Octothingy004 is maybe just a shade too hard. Eventually I'll work out patterns that are good for a success rate between 10% and 40%. Any time a layout turns out harder or easier than that, I'm sure it will appeal to someone. More to come ... Your feedback might just get me off my duff and making some new ones! But how in the world do you know that I haven't played my own? Jim

When you look at how you ranked on that LO it shows who played it... You can open that on the lower right side of the game... just click view and it's there...
Play your games, they are very nice....

You finally got me to look at Best Times - that was the only button I hadn't clicked before. I couldn't care less how long it takes me (or anyone else for that matter), so I ignored it until now. It is a cool, well-organized feature, and the way they've done it makes good sense - separate groupings for Classic, Speed, and Concentration modes and the option to jump to the Web to view longer listings. Times are still not a goal for me, but it is fun to see who else has done the layout, and in which mode. Thanks! I'll get around to them eventually. Jim

Ok, Angel - you talked me into it - I've played all the diamonds now. They were a fun change of pace from doing harder layouts. And there's a new layout up now - "Stilts & Platforms" - and more to come.

There's a few new layouts up now - two hard ones ("Elbows & Knees" and "Tops & Hops"), plus a couple not so hard ones ("Amid Pyramids" and "Hall & Rooms"). Enjoy!
