In the past I have created a simple tileset with the numbers 1-36 and saved each number as a jpg file. Invariably the first tile is rejected. Somehow in the past I solved this problem but memory of that fix is long forgotten. So I started over with a different font to make better numbers with smoother edges and have run into the same problem. When I click on the folder containing the 36 files, Mahjong says the first file has "something" wrong with it, "remove or change it and try again."
Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?
These files were created in Illustrator and exported as jpg on a Mac.

I solved one aspect of the problem by using 300 pixels per inch instead of 72. Now everything loads but will not remain after the game is finished.
