Thanks for the karma...we all need to pass a little on... If I go to the website www.mahjongtowerseternity.com it is online, but my game still says playing offline. It also says that 989 are online. Is that normal? Thanks! i have just opened the game and it was online with over 2,500 players online 989 seems pretty low, I think maybe that their server is/was having problems as for your user names you can use any user name but its has to be orginal to be used online... the game should tell you if you can use that name or if its already in use goodluck and let us know if it works out pinky

Oh my God.....after reaing all of the "MTE offline" comments yesterday, I had a nightmare last night that I was playing offline as well.
I also love to play Alchemy. Haven't yet tried Soduko. I am fearful of becoming addicted yet to something else. ;D

This will be truly shocking to some people, so please sit down before you read!
There are times when **gasp, I can't believe I'm about to say this ** I actually leave the computer to find entertainment. In fact, one of my favorite sources is Dell Puzzles.
I've been doing "Number Place" - the original Sudoku and a Dell original - ever since it first came out in '79. Imagine my surprise when I was in a bookstore a few years ago and saw the cover of a Sudoku publication that billed it as a "new" puzzle - one I'd been solving for over 25 years.
Dell Puzzles is also the creator of Cross Sums, which I've been doing for over 40 years. And now it shows up as a "new" Japanese puzzle named "Kakuro".
Now I'm waiting for my favorite puzzle to show up with yet another Japanese name. In Dell, it's called "Figure Logic" and is laid out like a crossword puzzle, but the answers are numbers. The clues are intricately interdependent, and have to be unraveled. I'm not sure Dell is the original creator of these, but they've been around for decades at the least, and maybe longer. If you don't go insane trying to solve them, addiction is a very real possibility.
I've also been known to do jigsaw puzzles, reading, and bicycling, not to mention other outdoor activities. There are also a few sci-fi TV programs I like.

Like most people here, I spend too much time at the computer, including but not limited to MTE. So I'd couldn't resist poking fun at that. I also wanted to mention activities that have nothing to do with the computer.

We do really need to laugh at ourselves, that is how we all get through life sometimes. It's always good know what others do in there life beside MTE (oh no did I say that) ....
