Spend all afternoon to redo the Tweety tileset. Using ratio 80 x100 made the images fall over the tiles. I used BMP, GIF and JPG files for it. yesterday I converted them to PNG, before working at them. That is cutting pieces out and resize them to the right size.
From now on. I first batch dialog the original files to avoid blurred backgrounds and convert them all JPG. Then I cut out the part of the picture and Crop it and resize it to 79x95 pixels. Eventual use Canvas size and make the borders colour 255. After that I save the picture as PNG in the final tileset folder. With saving I click at the canvas border colour 255 to make them transparent.
Using IrfanView of course with the plug in.

Tweety is adorable, Gerda!!! So bright, happy, cheerful--and it is looking like rain here so I'm going to go play a large layout with it! Anxious to see how the work you did all afternoon came out--karma to you!!
Your tilersets are always a joy to play with because you put so much concern into getting them just right--perfect colors, clear backgrounds--thank you!!

I have come to the conclusion: Ratio of tileset is better at: 80x96 pixels, using JPG pictures with borders. Also for JPG pictures, turning in PNG after. How come? I made a tileset once. That was Tweety tileset. It was JPG, BMP and GIF pictures in. In the end I turned them into PNG at 80x100 pixels. The pictures fell over the edged of the tiles. So I resized them to: 80x96 and that was OK. I was busy making screen shots of my own tilesets to put them in the Exposition of Tilesets. One of the Butterfly Beauty pictures missed the right side of its border. I experimented and found out: 80 x 96 is better, because the whole border was in. With redoing Butterfly Beauty to 80x96 pixels, I improved some pictures and changed one picture. I found such a nice one at Internet. Couldn't resist. www.esnips.com/doc/c4ac9c9a-18e5-43a1-813e-f554026d780c/ButterflyBea_46611.cst

Today I created Birds tileset. I want to explain in Dutch and improve English explanation how to do it without blurred backgrounds and with PNG format. I don't know how to do it. lol. I just do it. So, this is another in-between. Only good on it is the quality of the pictures. Now, I have to do another one and write down how I did it. I hope, it will not fly away this time. www.esnips.com/doc/27f41915-33d0-4cf5-a44a-882c5e1b0008/Birds_62152.cst

At last, at last, at last. I managed to create my Libra tileset. Yes, I wanted to do it before birthday again. It took me so long to figure out how to put the pictures proper to the tiles, That's a bigger puzzle over to become RLP. This tileset has many pictures with borders. It still remains difficult to resize huge pictures as small as 80x96 pixels. But I stick to that ratio. This is as good as it gets. I am a Libra and I fall of the Nuts tree. I will explain details tomorrow, how to create a tileset without blurred backgrounds and how to match pictures to tiles. Anyway, here Libra tileset comes: www.esnips.com/doc/2bd9447f-79b7-4daf-a3be-89446a9d20b4/Libra_77026.cst

Very very nice, Libra-Gerda!! Nice to be offline so I can go play a huge layout with it--probly one of rammie's.
Karma for you as always!!
Anxiously awaiting the "resolution instructions" as they are very much needed, I think. I have Photoshop, which won't allow me to put out a tile with poor resolution, but I cannot help others. Thank you for this good work. Karma for that tomorrow!!!

Oh that is how to make pictures without blurred backgrounds with IrfanView. You know all about that. I promised to do it tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. It is always now. If I feel better, I force myself to do it. OK? Fist I need to get rid of the workers clearing the cold out of my head. They make such a mess. I try to help them coughing. It makes the head feels like wanting to explode. Head aches enough as it is. Not to mention the bones and back.

I already explained in English some posts ago:
From now on. I first batch dialog the original files to avoid blurred backgrounds and convert them all JPG. Then I cut out the part of the picture and Crop it and resize it to 79x95 pixels. Eventual use Canvas size and make the borders colour 255. After that I save the picture as PNG in the final tileset folder. With saving I click at the canvas border colour 255 to make them transparent.
Using IrfanView of course with the plug in.
Well after that I decided 80x96 pixels ratio is better. That is also somewhere in this thread.
